He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund and Velta. He is survived by: his wife Andrea Lacis; his sister Nara Lacis; and his cousin Zaiga Baltruns (Ivars). He is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.
