He was predeceased by: his parents, Olaf Evanson and Blanch Evanson (Musch); his siblings, Bob Schmidt, Jean Holcomb, Ed Schmidt and Joanne Thomas; his former wife Mary Knuth; and his close friend Deanna Pittman.
He is survived by: his children, Cherie Spohn (Todd Bushmaker), Bill Evanson (Sheri) and Brian Evanson (Niki); his grandchildren, Angela, Ashley, Alex, Tyler, Katelyn, Heidi, Journie, Jadan, Aliesha and Mason; and his pet Maggie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
