He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Kelly of Minneapolis, MN, Brian, Halle and Germany; his mother Irene Beadle of Wisconsin Rapids; his sisters, Jean Grandkoski of Winder, GA and Patty Volz; his mother-in-law Marlyce Schmick of Wisconsin Rapids; and his siblings-in-law, Alan Schmick, David Schmick (Karen), Dan Schmick (Cindy), Karen Hoff of Coeur, Mary Christopherson (Lon) and Gillette. He is also survived by eight nieces and four nephews; and many great nieces and nephews.
