She was predeceased by: her parents, Rose Mary J. and Gilbert F. Schmitt; her daughter Evelyn Mae; her brother Michael Schmitt; her nephew Tim Tamayo; and her parents-in-law, Clarence and Mildred Schnorenberg.
She is survived by: her husband Jim; her daughter Anna Schnorenberg of Hartford; her grandson Leon Ashley; her siblings, Dennis Schmitt (Cindy), Patricia Tamayo, Richard (Lauri), Ralph (Darcy), Fred (Rose), Philip (Lisa), Carolyn Connolly (Rob) and Jennifer Feiner (Gary); and her siblings-in-law, Mary Murphy (Dennis) and Gerard Schnorenberg (Joan).
