He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Mayer and Edna Mayer; his wife Roegill; and his siblings, Helen, Colleen and Leonard Mayer.

He is survived by: his siblings, Charlie, Doris Santos (Bud) and Jenny Splittstoesser (Claire); his sister-in-law Eileen Mayer; his close friends, Dennis and Mike; and his niece Janice. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
