He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Opichka and Genevieve Opichka (Stencil); and his siblings, Peter, Carol Hintz (Don) and Bernard.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Mochty; his children, Rick Stencil (Sandy), Chris Vogel (Bruce) and Ed Stencil; his grandchildren, Apryl Stencil, Jesse Vogel (Mandy), Tammy Wettstein (Jeremy) and Cliff Stencil; his brother Glen Opichka (Marlene); and his sister-in-law Cindy Opichka.
