He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Rye and Anna Rye (LeGeault); his daughter Deborah; his son-in-law Michael Thomas; his son Michael Rye; and his siblings, Elwood, Jim Rye and Kjersten Siewert.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Kenneth Rye (Cheryl), Kronenwetter, Keith Rye (Bernadette), Madison, Kevin Rye and Renee Ristow (Scott); his sister Anna Marie Olson of Ironwood, MI; his daughter-in-law Winnie Rye (Michael) of Des Moines, IA; and his grandchildren, Michael, Jonathan, Shawn Thomas, Attalie, Shaeyla Rye, Mariah Lohff, Tahareh Mohammadian, Cortnee and Casey Ristow. He is also survived by great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at Mt View Care Center for the wonderful care they gave Harold over the last two covid-challenged years.
