She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Zak and Ruth Zak (Grunwald); her husband Robert Welker Sr.; her son Robert Welker Jr.; her pet Clyde; her brother Butch Zak; and her sister-in-law Tootie Zak.
She is survived by: her children, Lori Thomas (Conrad) of Wausau, Charmain Christensen of Ringle and Amy Welker of Milwaukee; her daughter-in-law Colleen Welker; her grandchildren, Rebecca Korzinek (Kiel), Nicole, McKenzie Christensen, Samantha Welker, Crystal Welker and Brittany Welker; her great grandchildren, Paisley, Kenterrio, Kameron and Raelynn; her siblings, Rose Michalski (Harry), Richard Zak and Sandy Piraino (Ernie); and her pets, RJ and Crackhead. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home - Birnamwood (445 Main St, Birnamwood, WI 54414). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
