He was predeceased by: his parents, Azof Wardesky and Elizabeth Wardesky (Polansky); his siblings, Gene Wardesky, Lester Wardesky and Joan Johnson; and his brothers-in-law, John Schwan and Earl Primley.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Ginny" Ann Wentzel; his children, Cynthia Hoenecke (Paul) and Jake; his grandson Joseph Swanson (Kathryn); his great grandchildren, Jaxon and Alexis; and his sisters, Geri Schwan and Sandy Primley. He is also survived by nephews and nieces and other relatives and friends.
