She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Spoerl (Peterson) and Joseph Spoerl; her grandson Justin Weisbrich; and her brother Kenneth Spoerl. She is survived by: her husband Glen Rutz; her children, Jill Elskamp (Bernie), Michael Rutz (Patti), James Rutz (Tolly) and Marty Rutz (Kat); her siblings, Nancy Gorman, Daryl Spoerl and William Peterson; and her pet Misty. She is also survived by 8 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren.
