He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Kulas and Cecelia Kulas (Mlodzikowski); and his grandparents, John, Katherine Kulas (Goskowicz), Vincent and Mary Mlodzikowski (Spranger).
He is survived by: his friend Edward Stoltz.
