He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marie; his children, Lynette M. Smith, Matthew F. Smith (Mandy), Catherine M. Hornik (Timothy), Mary L. La Clair (Dennis), Mark A. Smith (Kristin) and Margaret K. Smith; his brothers, Steven Smith and Bruce Smith; and his niece Tiffany Gutierrez. He was also cherished by six grandchildren.
