With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David R. Meyer of Rockland, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 28, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Meyer and Evelyn Meyer (Schroeder); his in-laws, Lawrence and Frances Antony; his granddaughter Evelin Meyer; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Antony, JoAnn Antony and Pat Antony.

He is survived by: his wife Patty; his children, Scott Meyer, Jamie Lockington (Ryan) and Sean Meyer (Rachel); his grandchildren, Andrew, Ashlie Lockington, Adam and Evan Meyer; and his brothers-in-law, Bill Antony and Doug Antony. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Fredrickson Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.

“We are so, so very sorry for your loss. Dave was a great cousin and friend to me. I have many great memories that we shared. Sometimes we got each other in trouble, but it was all good. Grandpa Schroeder had a lot to put up withus two, but we had fun. Going to see Trickle in Wisconsin Rapids was a blast. Now you can rest David, I will cherish the times I spent with you.”
