He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Axelsen and Alma Axelsen (Pulham); his wife Rhea "Vicki" Jones; and his brother Darryl Axelsen. He is survived by: his sons, Michael Axelsen (Shari) and Brian Axelsen; his grandsons, Lance and Dylan Axelsen; his brothers, Donald Axelsen (Kathy) and Kenneth Axelsen (Mary); and his siblings-in-law, Margie Axelsen and Larry Jones. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
