She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Gomon and Rose Gomon (Bisch); her husband Frank Marini; her parents-in-law, Salvatore and Bilitama Marini; her daughters, Janice Bakkum and Monica Harrison; her grandson Matthew Liegel; her sisters, Betty Gomon, Henrietta Marini and Vera Dwars; and her son-in-law Ronald Bakkum.
She is survived by: her children, Rita Bates of Madison, Michael Marini (Dianne) of Sheboygan and Julie Liegel (Mark) of Menomonie; her grandchildren, Tim Bates (Karen), Dan Bates (Cynthia), Charlie Bates (Ina), Sarah Schueffner (Cale), John Marini (Tamara), Andy Brei (Kim), Kati Bares (Geoff), Karla Bakkum and Jill Bakkum; her great grandchildren, Persephone Bates, Eli Schueffner, Isaiah Schueffner, Sophia Marini, Fiona Marini, Ella Brei, Mia Brei, Evelyn Bares, Bianca Bares, Leo Bares and Patrick Bares; her siblings, Elaine Pellet and Bernard Gomon (Beverly); and her son-in-law Richard Harrison of Baraboo.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or to the family to be distributed to various charitable organizations.
