He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne York and Marion York (Foote); his son Rick; his son-in-law Scott; and his great grandchild Autumn Rose.
He is survived by: his wife Gayle Bergholtz; his children, Tammy Roe (Dale) of Whitewater, Kathy Uptagraw of Rock Springs and Roger York (Sue) of Baraboo; his grandchildren, Brittany Kilpin (Matthew), Kacy Meyer (Nick), Josh Kluender (Allison), Lauren Dailey (Brad), Brandon Uptagraw and Dakota Kluender (Cammi); his great grandchildren, Brayden, Torunn, Lucy, Ava, Owen and Kohen; and his siblings, LeRoy York (Judith), Donna Stilen (Larry), Virginia York and Mariann Kruchten (Richard). He is also survived by other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Redlin-Ertz Funeral Home (401 Madison Ave, Baraboo, WI 53913).
