He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph R. Bauer and Helen Bauer (Radle) of Rock Falls, WI.; his brothers-in-law, Ross Thompson, Francis Koller and Henry Hince; and his grandson James Jerome.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Sievwright of Arkansaw, WI; his children, Chaplain, Tara (Charlotte) and Robert (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Elijah and Adeline; and his siblings, Dorothy Thompson of Eau Claire, Marilyn Koller of Eau Claire, Carol Prissel (Larry) of Durand, Jean Lecheler (Jim) of Grange Hall, Ronald Bauer (Bev) of Rock Falls, Dennis Bauer (Sandy) of Eau Claire and James Bauer (Jean) of Mondovi. He is also survived by many nieces/nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Rock Creek Fire Dept., N995 County Road H, Mondovi, WI 54755 or St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Rock Falls Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Monday April 3, 2023, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Rock Falls, with Rev. Timothy Welles officiating.
