He was predeceased by: his mother Nora Roessler; his grandparents, Otto, Lucy Zimmerman, Frank and Agnes Roessler; his father-in-law Ken Macho; his friend Todd Kersten; his birth father Harry Deloy; and his pets, Goldie, Penny, Dixie and Tim.
He is survived by: his father Frank Roessler; his wife Bonnie; his siblings, Brian DeLoy (Carrie), Kelley Dahlke (Dale) and Todd Roessler (Mary); his mother-in-law Pat Macho; his sister-in-law Sheri Geraets (Jim); his nieces and nephews, Joe, Scott, Michael Dahlke, Max (Sally), Megan Geraets, Justin, Courtney and Garrett DeLoy; and his great-nephew Maverick. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the American Heart Association.
