He was predeceased by: his parents, Lilly Ness and George Ness; his siblings, Norma, Janice and Glen; and his niece Debbie.
He is survived by: his wife Henrietta; and his children, Greg Ness (Karyn), Teresa Mattison (Jim), Jon Ness, Jeff Ness (Naomi) and Rachel Berger (Scott).
