He was predeceased by: his parents, William Engel and Norma Engel; his parents-in-law, Peter Huppert and Marge Huppert; and his grandparents, George, Annie Engel, Roy and Irene Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Huppert; his siblings, Randy Engel (Mary) and Susan Engel; and his siblings-in-law, Barb Lother (Larry), Mary Ann Lynnes (Mickey), Bill Huppert (Cindy) and Pete Huppert (Barb). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Bridget Catholic Church (211 E Division St, River Falls, WI 54022). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM at W10516 US-10, Prescott, WI 54021.
