He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Prochnow and Lillie Prochnow (Shaefer); his wife Barbara Jean Fedderly; his siblings, Leonard, Alvin, Alice Vieth (Harold) and Lenora Lausted (Harold); his brother-in-law Donald Wilsey; and his son-in-law Garry Kitzmann.
He is survived by: his children, Suzanne, Steven, Mike Prochnow (Nancy), Sue Kitzmann, Steve Prochnow (Latona) and Cindy Millin (Jerry); his grandchildren, Blake Prochnow, Phillip Prochnow (Shannon), David Prochnow (Gabrielle), Meredith Cooper (Jerry), Haley Cramer (Zach), Matt Millin (Janelle), Stacy LaCroix (Jamie), Nate Millin (Angie) and Megan Knutson (Trevor); his great grandchildren, George, Samuel Cooper, Jackson, Ben Millin, Jamison LaCroix, Teagan Prochnow and Myles Knutson; his stepgrandsons, Jeff, Garrett and Michael Kitzmann; his sisters-in-law, Lois Prochnow, Aggie Prochnow, Pat Draeger (Butch) and Lois Fedderly; and also Edna Wilsey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
With the ongoing Covid pandemic and the safety concern for all, a memorial service will take place at a later date at St. Bridget Catholic Church.
