She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Yaritz and Elizabeth "Betty" Yaritz (Tschida); her sisters, Sandra Gegen (Jim) and JoAnn Altman; and her former husband Kenneth Kraus.

She is survived by: her children, Terri Wagner (Kim) of Beldenville, Cheri Pechacek of River Falls, Kristi O'Malley (Mike) of River Falls, Jeffrey Kraus (Susan) of Georgetown, TX and Anthony Kraus (Gwen) of Lee's Summit, MO; her grandchildren, Brian Kraus (Debra), Troy Wagner (Angie), Adam Wagner (Jodi), Traci Wagner, Tony Pechacek (Melissa), Andy Pechacek (Becky), Amber Hanson (Chad), Tommy Kraus, Jessica Navarre (Jeff), Ryan O'Malley (Loren), Jill O'Malley, Johnny O'Malley, Nicole McNamara (Danny), Daniel O'Malley, Ben O'Malley and Mark O'Malley; her brother Jerry Yaritz (Regina); and her brother-in-law Dave Altman. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Use of masks and social distancing will be required.

Memorials honoring Shirley Kraus may be given to a charity of the donor's choosing.
