She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Pelzel and Oliva Pelzel (Lecheler); and her brother Ed Pelzel. She is survived by: her husband Allan Peterson; her sons, Todd Peterson (Tammy), Garrett Peterson (Ma'raj Sheikh) and Trey Peterson (Jasmine Hardin); her granddaughters, Livia and Clara Peterson; her siblings, Terry Pelzel (Denise), Kathy Dehnke (Bruce), Dan Pelzel (Sue), Jeff Pelzel and Roger Pelzel (Sheila); and her sister-in-law Nancy Pelzel. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Gathering of Family and Friends (with respect to social distancing and the use of masks) will take place 5:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday, September 3, 2020 at the O'Connell-Benedict Family Funeral Home, 225 S. 3rd St., River Falls, and one hour prior to the service Friday at church.
