She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Diess and Mary Diess (Brickner); her husband James Ray Sr. (Jim); and her siblings, Beatrice Worth (Marvin), Virginia Rice (Herman), Clarence Diess (Mildred), Marvin Diess (Alvira) and Joyce Polk (Stewart).
She is survived by: her children, Janice Ray of Eau Claire, WI, James Ray Jr. (Elaine) of River Falls, WI, Colette Lang (Robert) of Edgar, WI, Rosemary Henneman (Leon) of Ellsworth, WI, Norma Ray of Silver Springs, FL, David Ray (Nancy) of River Falls, WI, Delbert Ray (Brenda) of Clear Lake, WI, Pamela Lang (Ronald) of Marathon, WI and Robert Ray (Nancy) of River Falls, WI; and her sister-in-law Bernice Diess. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren.
