We are sad to announce that on February 20, 2022, at the age of 84, Mary Jo Vitt in River Falls, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Tom Vitt; and her parents, Aaron Forrest and Elizabeth Hawkins. She is survived by: her sons, Tom, Bill, Joe, Pete, Bob and Jim; her siblings, Ellery Hawkins, Donald Hawkins, Bonnie Curtner and Carol Poland; her great grandchildren, Tom, Kamala Udayamurthy, Joe, Julianne, Bill, Michelle, Theresa, Catherine, Jeannie Caraway, Jack, Ryan, Sam, Pete, Aasha, Michael, Marcus, Maria, Madeline, Bob and Sandra; and also, Alex, Conor, Laura, Jim, Stephanie, Luke, Elizabeth and John. She is also survived by her sons.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorials to Minnesota Public Radio, a favorite of Mary Jo's.
