She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Nelson and Bernice Nelson (Samuelson); her son-in-law Kurt Wood; and her nephew Daniel Townsend. She is survived by: her spouse Dale Vernon Bengtson; her children, Davin Bengtson (Brenda) and Dawn Wood; her grandchildren, Heidi Bengtson (Tanner Hansen), Jacob Bengtson, Hunter Wood, Trevor Wood and Sommer Wood; her sister Marlyce Townsend (Al); her niece Deb Townsend; and her nephews, David Townsend (Jessica) and Darin Townsend (Missy).
