He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Tolvanen and Bette Tolvanen; his parents-in-law, Eugene and Helvie Pelkola; and his grandson Timothy Monio Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Debrah; his children, Michael (Heather), Benjamin (Karen) and Amanda Monio (Tim); his grandchildren, Camden, Noel, Tyler and Gabe; and his sister Pat Jarkesy (George). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
