He was predeceased by: his parents, Bryce Barnes and Eloise Barnes. He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Barnes of Bayport; his children, Richard Barnes (Wisc) of New Richmond and Amy Barnes (Clayton Dumcum) of Stillwater, Minn.; his sister Mary Kay Huntoon (Lee); his granddaughters, Natalie and Rachel Dumcum; and his siblings-in-law, Susan Meltzer (William) and Randall Lorimor (Cynthia). He is also survived by five nephews, a niece and several grandnieces and grandnephews.
