He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Tobias and Theresa "Tress" Tobias (Matzek); his wife Teresa Pauline Schommer; his siblings, LaVerne, Marc Tobias and Helen Jean Hackett; his daughter-in-law Mary Tobias; and his grandson Todd Lubinsky.
He is survived by: his children, Gerald Tobias, Tom Tobias (Sharon), Andy Tobias (Deb) and Maria Reis (Joel); his grandchildren, John Lubinsky, Karen Beskau (Richard), Mike Tobias (Peggi), Jennifer Boleen (Brandon), Ryan Tobias (Kristin), Eric Tobias, Justin Tobias (Jessica), Tressa Klenc (Chris), Ben Reis (Ellie Maione) and Josh Reis (Billy Johnson); his siblings, Dick Tobias (Ann) and Kathleen Johnson; and his sister-in-law Pat Tobias. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren.
