It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leland Nelson of River Falls, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 14, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Nelson and Mabel Nelson; and his siblings, Raymond, Harold (Jackie), Mahlon (Verna), Eldon (Mardell), Alida and Mildred.
He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Komel (Mike) of Elburn, Gary (Sarah) of Hudson, WI and Rodger (Lonie) of Woodbury, MN; his grandchildren, Casey, Sam, Joe Komel, Dani, Niki, Taylor, Spencer, Christopher, Alex, Zachary, Otti and Sigurd; and his great grandchild Amari. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Luther Memorial Church in River Falls or an organization of your choosing.
