Though Joan may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Joan leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Merchant and Loretta Merchant (Gleason); and her husband Edward Sveen. She is survived by: her children, Mark Sveen of League City and Laura Karch of River Falls, Wisconsin; her grandchildren, Grace, Jacob and Eli; her sister Carol Bolster of Sparta, Wisconsin; and her nephews, Larry Bolster and Jason Bolster.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ezekiel Lutheran Church (202 S 2nd St, River Falls, WI 54022). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
