It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Tostrud (River Falls, Wisconsin), born in Red Wing, Minnesota, who passed away on June 28, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Tostrud and Ethel Tostrud; his stepfather Sievert Carlson; his mother-in-law Mary Jane Sullivan; and his sister Yvonne Meents.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Evenson of Hudson; his sons, Jim (Maureen) of Monroe, WI, David (Jayne Nightengale) of Hudson, WI and Eric (Sarah) of Hudson, WI; his grandchildren, Noah, Jonah, Grace, Lexi, Jonathan, Alex Tostrud, Claire and Garrett Hockman; his sisters, Loueta Tostrud and Judy Forbes; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Ann Anderson (Orin), Karen Turnbull (John) and Don Evenson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as treasured friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jim's name can be made to the American Legion Post 121 in River Falls or to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research (Peloton4Parkinsons, c/o Eric Tostrud, 1143 Sommers Street N., Hudson, WI 54016).
