James Loomis Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Loomis of River Falls, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 18, 2025 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Loomis to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Loomis and Nancy Loomis; his wife Dianne VanRossem; his siblings, Ruth Rezabek (Fred), Clorine Resel (Lawrence), Mary Thomson (Ralph), Norma Jean Nelson (Robert) and Joyce Zielinski (Stanley); and his brother-in-law Harry Kuhlman.
He is survived by: his children, Bill Loomis (Shelly), Terence Loomis (Amy) and Dana Breiter (Paul); his grandchildren, Cameron Loomis (Melissa), Garrett Loomis, Kyle Loomis, Bryce Loomis, Ryan Loomis, Drew Kollos (Aison), Bridgette Magee (Mitchell) and Quinton Kollos (Brianna); his great grandchildren, Brooks, Maegan, Beau, Rollie and Nikki-Jean; and his sisters, Marjorie Kuhlman and Joanne DeSmet (Charles). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the 26th St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Shell Lake (502 2nd St, Shell Lake, WI 54871). A burial will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the 26th Shell Lake Cemetery (502 2nd St, Shell Lake, WI 54871). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Rae's Bar and Grill (294 Industrial Blvd, Shell Lake, WI 54871).
Memorials are preferred and will be used to honor Jim's passions in life.
