He was predeceased by: his parents, Axel Jorgenson and Effie Jorgenson (Gregerson); his stepgrandson Kamren DeSmith; and his former wife Judy Jorgenson. He is survived by: his former wife Judy Slotvig; his wife Judith Hansen Jorgenson; his children, JoAnn Place (Nate) and Duane Jorgenson (Emily); his stepchildren, Mary Erickson (Kelvin), Wendi Klingler (Tony), Debbie Watters (Dan), Dana DeSmith and Michael Hansen; his foster son Tom Weber (Linda); his grandchildren, Jaimie Schnacky (Danny), Shaunie Place (Casey Thompson), Tyler Jorgenson and Chelsea Jorgenson; and his great grandchildren, Effie, Henry Schnacky, August and Evelyn Thompson. He is also survived by 13 step great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
