He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Nelson and Evelyn Nelson (Buckner); his wife Arlene Nelson; and his brother Charles Nelson. He is survived by: his children, Jeff Nelson, Scott Nelson, Craig Nelson (Kathy), Gary Nelson (Shelley), Brian Nelson (Lisa) and Jennifer O'Malley (Greg); his grandchildren, Adam Nelson (Katie), Michelle Nelson, Brady Nelson, Carly Nelson, Alec Nelson, Stacia Johnson (Nick), Darin Nelson (Karen), Tara Kochendorfer (Bryan), Jake Nelson, Tiffany Johnson (Kyle), Ashley Nelson, Tyler Nelson, Jessie O'Malley, Katie O'Malley, Colin O'Malley, Anne O'Malley, Abby Stees (Kade), Molly O'Malley and Joseph O'Malley; and his great grandchildren, Brooks, Kori, Kieran, Camden, Teegan, Jameson, Leticia, Cal, Max, Taya, Tessley and Koyer. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
