He was predeceased by: his parents, Burton "Bert" Smith and Magdalene Smith; his sons, Sean and Shane; and his brother Robert "Bobby".
He is survived by: his wife Charlene Elizabeth May; his son Shad; his grandchildren, Sasha Tiberg (Zachary) and Alexandra Redus (Victor); and his great grandchildren, Bentley Tiberg, Abel Tiberg, Adeline Tiberg, Bradley Smith, Angel Redus and Troy Redus. He is also survived by seven siblings; and many relatives and friends.
