It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon J. Gordy Gavin of River Falls, Wisconsin, born in Red Wing, Minnesota, who passed away on February 24, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William N. Gavin and Lorraine M. Gavin (Buss); and his sisters, Susan and Carol. He is survived by: his sister Patricia Girardi (Bob); his brother-in-law Gary Hildebrandt; his nieces and nephews, Michelle Standaert (Gary), Kim Maier (Randy), Kelly Horvath (Dan), John Huppert (Amanda), Bill Hildebrandt and Joe Hildebrandt; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jason, Keydan, Matt, Abbi, Danell, Justin, Logan, Keldan, Amber, Clayton and Duke. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A Visitation will take place (masks and social distancing encouraged) from 4:00 – 8:00pm on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at St. Mary's Big River Catholic Church, W10137 570th Ave., rural River Falls, and one hour prior to Mass on Monday.
