He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Melin (Dave) of Grantsburg, WI and Patty Nelson (Doug) of Cushing, WI; his grandchildren, Tara Littlefield (Aaron), Nathan Melin (Kelsey), Hannah Melin, Connor Nelson and Lyndsey Nelson; his great grandchildren, Payton, Axel, Pearl, Prestyn, Pyper, Luella, Rudy and Gus; his siblings, Jeanine Hanson and Bob Madsen (Thekla); his sister-in-law Betty Johnson (Chuck); and his daughter Dawn Friedrich. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
