He is survived by: his wife Paula; his daughter Katrina Korbel (Jeff Richert); his grandson Gunner Allen Richert; his siblings, Gwen Couch (Bill) and Kevin Korbel (Christine); and his close friends, Jack Hannack (Bonnie) and Gregg Kado (Jane). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
