Garda Madsen Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Garda Madsen of River Falls, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 27, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Garda farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Garda is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Traynor and Erma Traynor; and her siblings, Patrick Traynor (Joan) and Patricia Anderson (Donn). She is survived by: her husband Howard Madsen; her children, Kathy Madsen and Randy Madsen (Michelle); her grandchildren, Joseph Madsen and Abby Madsen; and her brother Dean Traynor. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cross Lutheran Church (1246 County Rd TT, Roberts, WI 54023).
