It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Yanisch of River Falls, Wisconsin, born in Ellsworth, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 25, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Stern and Thekla Stern (Lubinski); her husband Herbert Yanisch; her daughters, Frances Buss and Faye Riley; and her siblings, Walter Stern and Marion Dinger (Gerald).
She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa and Terri Avery (James) of Cumberland, WI; her grandchildren, Robert Buss (Kelly), Sandy Ewing (Brian), Mike Buss, Dory Keck, Bill "Boomer" Riley, Sean Riley (Natasha), Nick Goodwin, Brianne Hempel (Dave) and Brett Hempel (Kaylyne); and her sister-in-law Bernice Deiss. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Visitation (masks and social distancing required) will be held starting at 9:30 AM until the start of Mass at the church.
