He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Langer and Florence Langer (Andrle); his siblings, Alvin Langer, Marlys Langer and Joann Langer Berg; his brother-in-law Robert Berg; and his nephews, Craig and Michael Berg.
He is survived by: his wife Doris; his children, Deborah Odahlen, Daniel Langer and Darwin Langer; his sisters, Rose Marie Brookshaw (Richard) and Judy Hermann (Donald); and his sister-in-law Geri Langer. He is also survived by five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
