With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Devan Charles James Nelson of River Falls, Wisconsin, born in Cumberland, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 8, 2024 at the age of 23. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Kenneth Nelson and Leianne Doriott; and his brother Dylan. He is survived by: his parents, Troy D. Nelson (Katrina) and Laracia Staples (Lizzie Lencowski); his daughter Addilyn Grace Nelson; his sisters, Darian Nelson and Kailey Nelson; his grandparents, Marilyne Gallman (Steve) and Dennis Staples; and his nephew Cayson Dale. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the St. Croix Tribal Center (24663 Angeline Ave, Webster, WI 54893). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
