He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth Johnson; and his brothers, Ricky and Steve. He is survived by: his mother Elfrieda Johnson; his wife Brenda Hammann; his children, Brent (Cassie), Brittney Brennan (Corey), Brooke Wenzel (Rod) and Brandi Martell (Logan); his grandchildren, Lillian, Kaydence, Emmett, Alan, Sofia and Emily; his pets, Stewie and Henry; his siblings, Gary (Rita), Joe (Kim) and Lisa; his sister-in-law Amy; and his close friend Krastyo Malinov. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
