He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Brohaugh and Mabel Brohaugh (Esterby); and his siblings, Joel, Arley, Audrey Staats and Elaine Torseth.

He is survived by: his wife Karen Anderson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the River Bluff Humane Society in Red Wing, Minnesota, or Adoray Home Health and Hospice of Western Wisconsin.
