She was predeceased by: her parents, Delmar Schouten and Hazel Schouten (Van Loo); her husband Bruce Weinkauf; her daughter Lori Simson; her in-laws, Adolph and Mildruth Weinkauf; her siblings, Marion Kok (Harvey), Delmar "Sonny" Schouten and Larry Schouten; her sister-in-law Nita Weinkauf; and her nephew Andrew Wick.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Leahy (Jeff) of Markesan and Kevin Weinkauf of Ripon; her grandchildren, Cody Leahy of Fox Lake, Jared Leahy (Natalia) of North Carolina, Callie Leahy (Derek Kunde) of Fond du Lac and Amelia Leahy of Markesan; her son-in-law Emil Simson; and her siblings-in-law, Josette Schouten, Rose Wick (Bill), Gil Weinkauf (Nancy) and Dave Weinkauf. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (100 Church St, Fairwater, WI 53931). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
