He was predeceased by: his stepfather Tom Giese; and his brother Kean Fravel. He is survived by: his children, Logan Fravel, Dewey Sherman III and Angela Gorske (Gabe); his mother Rita Giese; and his siblings, Theresa Brandner, Andrea Bielby and Brian Fravel (Lori). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Flowers are welcome and other contributions can be made to honor Shawn's lifelong passion for planting trees and the Arbor Day Foundation.
