Sandra L. Soda Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sandra L. Soda (Ripon, Wisconsin), who passed away on January 23, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norbert Smet and Mildred Smet (Hansen); her in-laws, Joseph and Maggie Soda; her granddaughter Kelly Schatzke; and her siblings-in-law, George, Victor, Norbert, Donald, Raymond, Gen Feldt and Frances Darnick.
She is survived by: her husband Ernie of Patrick's Parish; her children, Steven Soda (Sandra), Sue Schatzke (Randy), Stacey Oakes (Shawn) and Cindy Duchatschek (John); her grandchildren, Travis Duchatschek (Becky), Joe Soda (Francesca), Matt Schatzke (Mallory), Nicole LaCroix (Matt), David Soda, Brett Oakes (Jamie) and Brooke Oakes (Simeon); and her sisters-in-law, Angie Chikowski, Helen Kautzer, Mary Korleski (George), JoAnn Szweda, Delores Hoopman (Phil), Sharon Pryzbyl (Ken) and Karan Soda. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church (228 E Blossom St, Ripon, WI 54971). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be made to St. Catherine of Siena Church, 218 E. Blossom St., Ripon, WI 54971, or Ripon VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 5278, 113 E. Fond du Lac St., Ripon, WI 54971.
