He was predeceased by: his father James Riviers; his grandparents, Ralph, Edith Krause, Alexander W. and Gertrude Riviers; and his pet Sammie.

He is survived by: his mother Shirley Riviers (Krause) of Ripon, WI; his siblings, Cindy Berger (Gary) of Ripon, WI, Michael Riviers (Carrie) of Waukegan, IL and Lissa Riviers of Ripon, WI; his close friend Lorna O'Donovan of Waupun, WI; and his pet Quint. He is also survived by nieces; nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews.
