He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruben Schouten and Henrietta Schouten (Aalpoel). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Schultz; his sons, Jeremy (April) and Alan; his siblings-in-law, James Schultz (Mary) and Barbara Schultz; his nephew John Schultz (Tori); and his nieces, Hope Schultz, Christine Kelm (Dave), Karen Schultz and Laura Kauffman (Timmie). He is also survived by several aunts; uncles; and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Radio Fund of Our Saviour's United Church of Christ.
